Why This Reference Exists
Printed Loma Linda directories no longer serve as a complete current roll, yet the underlying records remain active in separate systems. Parcel and deed information is held by San Bernardino County ARC. Voter access follows California election rules. Court and vital records use their own custodians, while the Heritage Research Center preserves the institutional directories and papers that make older Loma Linda research distinctive. The goal is to put the right portal, office contact, coverage note, and access limit beside the question it can actually answer.
What the Directory Offers
- Distinct research paths: the street directory follows address-keyed records, the city directory page follows the historical shelf, and the resident lookup page tests one name across sources
- Named custodians: San Bernardino County ARC, the Registrar of Voters, Superior Court CAP, CDPH Vital Records, Loma Linda City Clerk, and LLU's Heritage Research Center
- Practical methods: connecting an address to an APN, reading a directory entry, and pairing a household clue with census, deed, probate, or institutional evidence
- Access boundaries: what California law makes available, what requires an application or copy request, and what remains confidential or protected
Where the Limits Are
This is a privately run reference site, separate from every Loma Linda office, San Bernardino County department, California agency, court, and library. The boundaries are important:
- We cannot establish that a named person currently lives in Loma Linda
- We cannot obtain, certify, amend, or correct a record for you
- We cannot place a person on, or remove a person from, an official roll
- We cannot advise you as a lawyer about a record or disagreement
- We cannot guarantee that a portal, fee, coverage year, or office detail remains unchanged
Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
