1. The Reference Service
Loma Linda Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections concerning people who live or have lived in Loma Linda, California. No government record is hosted here, and the service is independent of every office, court, library, and records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only in a lawful and respectful way. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make a decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Report
The service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither the material here nor a result from a linked tool is a consumer report. None may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Outside Links
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their content, availability, pricing, and data handling are outside our control.
5. Disclaimers of Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the text is accurate, complete, or current, or that an outside portal will remain available or return a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from this service or a linked resource, including a decision made from a record reached through it.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorney fees, that results from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Site Materials
The original words, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Readers may link to a page and quote a brief attributed excerpt. Republishing an entire page or copying the material systematically is not permitted.
9. Revisions
We may revise these terms by posting a replacement version here. If you continue using the service after the change, you accept the revised terms.
10. Access Restrictions
We may block or limit access for a person who violates these terms or abuses the service. That action may be taken at our discretion and without advance notice.
11. California Law
California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §7920.000 et seq., governs access to many government records, while the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code §1798.100 et seq., governs qualifying covered businesses. Neither statute turns this private reference service into a records custodian.
12. Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Contact
