Information You Enter
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider operating that result tool. Our own service does not keep a copy of the query. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use those details to respond.
Routine Technical Data
Hosting systems may record ordinary server information such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. We use aggregate patterns to maintain the service and understand general page use. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools when those services are enabled.
How Information Is Used
Technical information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from the limited data described here.
External Portals and Tools
Links lead to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Each outside provider controls its own privacy practice and terms. That includes the sponsored search results, which are supplied by another company.
Possible Recipients
Hosting and support providers may process server logs while keeping the service online. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the routine technical data described above. Disclosure may also occur when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, we do not disclose it for unrelated purposes.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes above. There are no accounts, passwords, or user profiles on this service for us to maintain.
Children and Young Users
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your California Privacy Choices
California's Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, appears in Civil Code §1798.100 et seq. and may give qualifying residents rights to know, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain sensitive-information uses. Those rights generally govern covered businesses, not government custodians. Because this service keeps little data, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
Public records held by California state, county, or city offices remain under the control of their custodians. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §7920.000 et seq., governs access to many government records, but it does not transfer those records to this service and does not override specialized confidentiality rules. Deletion requests for a deed, court file, voter product, or vital record must go to the responsible office.
Policy Updates
When this policy changes, the revised text will be posted here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the new version.
